LEONARD REGAN,CSW

Director, Community Rehabilitation Services

Leonard has worked with people who have acquired brain injuries since 1989. He has worked as a lifestyle coach, disability counsellor, housing advocate, peer counselor, community support worker and group home manager. He worked for many years with the Action Committee for Persons with Disabilities managing their home care services and developing their advocacy and outreach team. He was president of the Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL) for 2 years and has been an associate member of Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada and its predecessor, the Canadian Association of Rehab Professionals (CARP) since 1994. Throughout his career, he has been a tireless advocate and spokesperson for the rights of marginalized persons with brain injuries.

BEV REGAN, M.Ed, CCRC, RRP

Director, Counselling and Vocational Services

Bev holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria. She holds accreditation as a Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor and is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional. She is a certified counselor through the Canadian Counselling Association and is eligible for accreditation as a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Her expertise is in the field of vocational rehabilitation working with the psycho-social effects of injury and disability. She has worked as a vocational rehabilitation specialist offering guidance and assistance to persons with disabilities as they re-enter the workforce. Bev also offers clinical counseling support to individuals and couples. She volunteers with the Rehabilitation Professionals Network in Victoria and has volunteered for many years with Citizens’ Counselling Services.
