- Clinical Counselling — Depression, anxiety, substance abuse, anger management, self-esteem issues, change management, life-planning and relationships.
- Workshop Facilitation — Life skills topics such as budgeting, communication, assertiveness, conflict resolution, pain management, job retention.
- Life Skills Coaching — Time management, organizational strategies, budgeting, memory issues, shopping and meal preparation.
- Vocational Counselling - Assistance with developing viable, realistic vocational goals and plans. Help to wade through formal assessment results such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Career Interest testing and Work Personality Inventories. Assistance with developing viable, realistic vocational goals and plans.
Our counseling team is lead by Beverly Regan, M.Ed. She has accreditation as a Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor, Registered Rehabilitation Professional and as a Canadian Certified Counsellor. She has experience helping individuals cope with the changes in self concept that occur as a result of injury and disability. She is able to help clients work through grief and loss issues and find new meaning and hope in their changed circumstances.
